Daniel
P. Bjugstad
Dan Bjugstad is a general partner in New Vista Real Estate & Investment
Company, which was formed with his partner, Phil White, in 1997 to specialize in
commercial and residential investments and property development. Dan has been
full-time in real estate since he received his Colorado license in 1974. Dan is
experienced with all facets of real estate, including commercial and residential sales,
property management of retail centers and large apartment complexes and land development. |

Dan has developed and owned numerous
commercial and residential projects in the Colorado Springs area including
several shopping centers, industrial properties and subdivisions. He
recently completed American Storage, a 93,000+ SF mini-storage and RV
parking center development near I-25 and Woodmen Road on Vincent Drive.
Phase II of the project, the addition of 22,000 SF, was completed in the
spring of 2001. Dan and Phil currently have an 38 lot single family
development under way called "VISTA VILLAS" and are working on development of the
second phase of Prestwick
Townhomes, a "live/work" Philadelphia style row house project in
downtown Colorado Springs. Phase 1 of 15 units is sold out and they
have built 14 units in phase 2 with only 1 remaining unit and a 3rd phase
plus Prestwick Plaza are in the planning stages. |
| Dan came to Colorado Springs in September of
1970 to be a teacher at Air Academy High School. Dan left teaching to pursue a
career in real estate and has been active in the profession since 1974. He obtained
his Colorado broker's license in 1980. His professional involvements include membership in
the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors (PPAR), the National Association of Realtors (NAR,
and the Colorado Association of Realtors (CAR). Dan has also been active in the
International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the local
chapter of the Realtors Commercial Industrial Society (RCIS). Dan has been on
various community boards and associations and has been a Board Member at New Hope in the
Rockies, Compassionate Ministries. |
